ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - TECH

We are seeking a accounting specialist who will be a W-2 for us and help us provide accounting and finance help for our clients. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years' accounting experience, including an excellent understanding of accounting cycle fundamentals such as A/R, A/P, and payroll and commissions, as well as more complex processes like accrual accounting, journal entries, month-end closes, and reconciliations. The candidate must be proficient in Quickbooks Online, (and/or other ERP systems) MS Excel, and other accounting and finance tools.

Examples of the Required Duties:

• - Accrual and Cash accounting
• - Bank and G/L reconciliation
• - Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
• - Consolidation accounting experience
• - Financial statements, financial analysis, and budgeting
• - Manage full cycle A/P & A/R & payroll
• - Revenue Recognition

Experience Requirements:

• - QuickBooks Online expertise minimum, other system expertise a bonus 
• - Microsoft Excel -- Intermediate level minimum
• - Strong understanding of IT technologies such as Dropbox, Windows, Internet, file management
• - Ability to interpret basic accounting principles and apply them to complex financial transactions.
• - Ability to analyze complex situations, apply functional principles, and develop solutions. 
• - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. On-site only; no remote workers.
• - Excellent communications skills, including English spoken and written
• - Attention to detail, highly accurate; pride in your work
• - Positive attitude, good work ethic, punctual
