STAFF ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an organized and driven Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with the accounting team and operations personnel to handle day-to-day accounting tasks.
Including but not limited to:
- • Accounts Payable
- • Accounts Receivable
- • Month-end close & reporting
- • Expense Reports
- • Payroll
- • Ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
- • Prepare weekly and monthly customer invoicing
- • Responsible for processing all vendor invoices
- • Manage entire AP process
- • Assists with monthly close process, including preparing and/or posting various journal entries, reviewing of income & expense accounts to ensure expenses are recorded in the correct period and have been given a correct classification, correction of several downloaded credit cards transactions, and any other assistance necessary to accomplish a timely close.
- • Assist in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
Requirements:
- • Bachelor's degree in accounting
- • 2-4 years staff accounting or comparable experience
- • QuickBooks experience (mandatory)
- • ERP System experience such as NetSuite a plus (not necessary)
- • Solid Excel Skills
- • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- • Working knowledge of accounting concepts, the matching principle, debits and credits, components of financial statements, and accounting best practices
