We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join a fast, energetic team to build cutting-edge security applications. We build cloud computing and service applications for the consumer, business and enterprise customers worldwide. Join our team and help develop next generation applications and technology. Role

• •Creatively solve problems and be part of an agile team to develop applications in a big data analytics environment for next generation Cyber Security
• •Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies
• •Design, develop, monitor and maintain a database solution over Hadoop clusters for our security information
• •Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable security insights and reports
• •Work with other teams to streamline our data systems
• •Identify performance bottlenecks, failure points and develop steps to enable future scalability.
• •Perform query optimizations for all datasets.
• •Test efficiency and performance of Hadoop database clusters. Capacity planning for data growth.
• •Responsible for a QA build, release and streamline service configuration.

Education & Background

• •BS in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience in related field
• •Experience with NoSQL, Hadoop ecosystem, HBase, Hive, Cloudera Manager or similar data management platform including Postgres, MySQL and SQL Server experience is a huge plus
• •Experience in Linus and Windows operating system
• •3+ years in software development using .NET C#, C/C++ (optional), Linux scripting, crossplatform in Microsoft Windows and Linux development environments
• •Expertise in cloud-based computing (Amazon AWS)
• •2+ years of database development, maintenance in a production environment and big data analytics environment
• •Experience in HTTP, DNS, and other Web protocols is a plus
• •Experience in API server and IIS is a plus
• •Experience in a high-performance, high-availability, and large-data volume product development
• •Experience multi-threading, asynchronous/concurrent programming
• •Ability to work in a team environment
• •Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
