SOFTWARE ENGINEER I/II
Exciting opportunities exist for software engineers wanting to use their coding skills in a fast paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for software developers with experience writing database-centric desktop applications.Your role will be to help our company achieve its software product roadmap for the next few years. You will be responsible for implementing key areas of our new product base which will require advanced C# programming and a keen ability to design innovative end user software solutions. Our research and development spans radar measurement techniques and analysis, positioning systems, image processing, machine learning and robotics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- • Support software development of radar systems to include design and implementation of data, business, and UI classes
- • Assist in generating and documenting software using C# and .NET Frameworks.
- • Assist in development of unit and integration test software and procedures
- • Support Engineering Management in the advancement of department software development processes and procedures as required
REQUIREMENTS
- • 1- 3 years of experience developing software in any object oriented Programming language
- • Proficient in SOLID object-oriented design principles
- • Experience with test driven development in an agile environment
- • Experience with design patterns including MVVM and dependency injection
- • Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle simultaneous projects
- • Self-starter, independent, results-focused, and driven to deliver customer value
OTHER SKILLS
- • Cryptography and Digital Signature technologies
- • Experience with web services
- • RF engineering, applied mathematics, or image processing
- • Experience working with any of the following hardware: FPGAs, microcontrollers, smart motors, tilt sensors, height sensors
EDUCATION
- • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math required.
