COMPANY BACKGROUND

We were founded to provide expertise in radar cross section (RCS) measurements with emphasis on radar systems, data reduction and analysis, algorithm development and field measurements. We are is focused on customer needs and providing full spectrum support including engineering, field measurement, software development and manufacturing.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
This individual will report to the Chief Financial Officer and provide cost analysis for all production builds and internal and customer funded projects. As a cost analyst, this individual will be expected to perform semiannual rate calculations in accordance with CAS and FAR and prepare final incurred cost proposals for annual submission to DCAA. Other responsibilities will include assisting with monthly and year end financial closes and preparation of information for the annual tax returns. This position requires an energetic individual with a strong desire to learn all aspects of accounting and our accounting/manufacturing data base system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Provide cost analysis of top level production builds.
• • Provide cost analysis of all R&D and customer funded design, development and measurement projects.
• • Responsible for preparing government rate calculations.
• • Assist with annual incurred cost proposal submissions and DCAA audits.
• • Assist with monthly and year-end financial closes and reporting.
• • Provide necessary information for the preparation of taxes.
• • Maintain various modules within DBA Next Generation, our accounting & manufacturing data base system.
• • Involved in the preparation and updating of accounting policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• • 5-8 years experience in cost and government accounting.
• • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within accounting and Finance.
• • Minimum 3 years' experience in a high tech manufacturing environment.

OTHER SKILLS

• • Ability to communicate effectively, confidentially, and attention to detail is essential.
• • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• • Strong computer skills. (MS office)
• • Ability to acquire a complete understanding of our accounting/manufacturing system, DBA Next Generation.
• • Flexible and adaptable to meet changing needs within the department.
• • Knowledge of rate calculations a plus.

EDUCATION
Requires a BS in Business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance, or a BA in Math. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information which includes US Citizenship.
