STAFF ACCOUNTANT - Wearable Tech

We are a well-funded wearable sports technology company. Wearable Sports Tech has been one of the largest growing sector of the tech industry. The Company is experiencing growth and we are looking for a Staff Accountant to be part of this awesome Company!

Position Purpose:

Key member of financial team responsible for day-to-day Accounting functions and closing the books each month. Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Description:

An ideal candidate would match the following profile:

• • Perform processing and administration of accounting system sub-ledgers and monthly close entries.
• • Verify receipts and approvals against corporate card charges, and reconciling credit card accounts.
• • Updating accounting system with bank transactions (direct deposits, wires, ACH, debits), and reconciling bank accounts.
• • Record daily Sales and payments, coordinate weekly AR meeting with VP of Sales.
• • Assisting accounting manager in various accounting and finance operational projects.
• • Preparing period-end schedules for pre-paid assets.
• • Calculate and record partners' commission.
• • Review and record employees' reimbursement.
• • Special Projects, as needed.

Required Experience:

• • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in a related role
• • Good understanding of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• • A/P, AR, Accrual, Prepaids, and Fixed Assets accounting experience
• • Experience in multiple ERP Systems
• • BS in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent
