FINANCIAL ANALYST

Essential Functions and Duties With a wide array of responsibilities, you will provide business analysis on topics like gross margins, operating margins, revenue recognition, capital investment, project ROI, and policies and procedures. You'll utilize and apply advanced financial modeling, accounting, business & risk management skills, and business judgment to deliver influential advice to drive the company's decision-making process.

You will have a thorough working knowledge of finance, accounting and business analysis and a firm grasp of financial statements and their interrelationships. In addition you have an ability to work in a dynamic, team orientated environment communicate with varies departments to obtain maximum results . As a result of your passion to move a business forward you will have an influence in driving growth.

In this position, you will work across multiple businesses with international and domestic activities. Duties and responsibilities may change over time. We are looking for an individual who is willing and able to take ownership of this position and be able to work virtually, displaying great organizational and communication skills. This is a challenging and ever changing and fast paced industry which needs a candidate that is current and is able to change and adjust because of the dynamic nature of the environment. A fascination for invention and innovation and the markets which exist obtained through research is a plus as you will also take part in some market analysis as well.

Responsibilities:

• · Financial statement planning, modeling, and analysis
• · Developing metrics and forecasting models that provide transparency and improve performance
• · Cash flow projection and analysis
• · Partner with Accounting to understand and meet deadlines for financial close Ad hoc projects and analysis

Qualifications

• · BA in Finance or Accounting -- MBA or CPA candidate preferred
• · 5+ years experience in Finance Analysis and/or Accounting Tools - Microsoft Office and Accounting Software(s)
• · Critical Thinker -- deductive reasoning, problem solver, seeing & understanding unconventional view points
• · Outstanding communicator -- written, oral, clarity 
• · Comprehension -- obtaining data, analyzing data, organizing data, defining interrelationships
